INFORICH Launches Proof-of-Concept for “ChargeSPOT mobile Wi-Fi” Service

INFORICH, operator of the mobile battery sharing service “ChargeSPOT®,” (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Group CEO: Hironobu Akiyama; hereinafter “INFORICH”) has partnered with Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Seven-Eleven”) to launch a proof-of-concept for the rental service “ChargeSPOT mobile Wi-Fi” at 18 Seven-Eleven stores in Tokyo, starting on, September 18, 2025.

■ Background of the Proof-of-Concept
In recent years, the use of digital devices such as smartphones and tablets has become a part of daily life. Along with this, demand for temporary internet access—whether during travel, for short-term use due to data shortages, or for inbound tourists visiting Japan—has been steadily increasing.
Leveraging the platform foundation built through “ChargeSPOT,” INFORICH believes that by also working to enhance network connectivity, it can provide users with a more convenient and comfortable mobile experience. By enabling seamless network access at Seven-Eleven locations, which are a part of people’s everyday routines, the company aims to further improve customer convenience.
Currently, “ChargeSPOT” is available at approximately 9,000 Seven-Eleven stores nationwide. By combining internet connectivity with charging at these locations, the company expects to enhance user convenience, which led to the launch of this proof-of-concept.
